Ibhar has launched its infection prevention and control (IPC) product for hospitals based on CDC and WHO guidelines. Ibhar addresses the challenge of setting up the IPC protocols, relevant data capture and analytics required to manage a robust IPC practice in hospitals. BioMérieux Myla API provide a seamless user experience for Clinical Microbiologists who can use the Ibhar IPC system for culture reporting while the VITEK system does the microbial identification(ID) and Antibiotic susceptibility testing(AST). It provides a powerful mechanism for the generation and sharing of Hospital Antibiograms with clinicians for a better targeted empirical prescription of antibiotics to patients.
