In a groundbreaking initiative spearheaded – Using Ibhar AMS Solution the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) conducted a comprehensive antibiogram study across India. This study, which involved over 75 hospitals, marks a significant milestone in understanding antibiotic resistance patterns using automated AST.
Extensive data on antibiotic susceptibility from a diverse range of healthcare facilities were collected and analysed using the Ibhar AMS Solution. The study’s scope encompassed various regions and demographics, providing invaluable insights into the effectiveness of antibiotics against micro-organisms.
The findings of this study are expected to have far-reaching implications for public health policies, clinical decision-making, and the fight against antimicrobial resistance.
