Antimicrobial Resistance
Ibhar AMS Solution supports healthcare organizations in their Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (AMSP). By providing clinicians, microbiologists, and infection control teams with the necessary tools and information, these applications can enhance decision-making processes related to antimicrobial use, facilitate monitoring and surveillance of resistance patterns, and contribute to more effective antimicrobial stewardship.
Our Approach
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a significant global health concern. Healthcare organizations play a critical role in promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobials, helping to curb the development and spread of antimicrobial resistance. Ibhar engages with healthcare agencies in public health and universities with teaching hospitals and helps evolve technology driven solutions to the challenges of tackling AMR. These solutions are made available to hospitals and labs to implement processes in strengthening their AMS Programs.

Clinical Microbiology
The Clinical Microbiology Reporting (CMR) application maintains the electronic culture register, integrated with automated AST equipment such as VITEK, MALDI-TOF, BACT/ALERT. It supports CLSI, EUCAST guidelines and is extensible.

It generates culture reports incorporated with a series of comments, BMQ (Breakpoint to MIC Quotient), MIC guiding table, infection control advice, antibiotic advice, organism pathogenicity etc. It also has provision for multiple authorization with auto-generated messages. It has provision for generating hospital antibiogram and key performance indicators for Antimicrobial Stewardship programs.

Antimicrobial Stewardship
Ibhar AMS supports hospitals in the implementation of a comprehensive Antibiotic Policy, delivering detailed information on each sample to clinicians, and providing assistance through an Antibiogram. This aims to enable clinicians to prescribe empirical antibiotics in accordance with the hospital's Antibiotic Policy and pertinent Antibiotic resistance data.
Clinicians can access their hospital antibiogram with the convenience of a chatbot from their mobile devices.
Detailed Analysis on Antibiotic use with key metrics such as DDD and DOT.

The Antimicrobial Steward is equipped with a monitoring mobile app to monitor Antibiotic Time outs and changes to Antibiotic Suggestions.
